Tatarlı Mound excavation is an important excavation that began to have a say in Kizzuwatna-Hittite relations, extending from the Cilicia Mountains to the Ceyhan Plain, without straying too far from Anatolia in the 2nd millennium BC. While reading about the work carried out at Tatarlı Mound, we also feel how "alive" archaeology actually is.
