Slavery developed in ancient times as both a cause and a consequence of the great migrations caused by wars.

In the early ages, especially in agricultural societies where central governments or kingdoms were strengthened, wars were fought, prisoners were taken, and large migrations were carried out to obtain more labor.

The captured slaves were forced to work at home, in the fields, and in all other jobs throughout their lives, and even their children born during that period had to continue their lives as slaves.
