The name Çemberlitaş, which was given to the Constantine Column in the middle of the Forum due to the iron hoops made to strengthen the column due to the static problems it experienced, has always been used to describe the same square and column. The person who had it built was Constantine, one of the emperors of the Late Roman Period and the founder of our city Istanbul. This important place of Istanbul, which was inaugurated in 330 AD under the name Nova Roma, or New Rome, has continued its existence with its monumental column that has maintained its existence for approximately 1700 years. Although the Senate House and Nymphaeum located around the Forum and the entrance and exit gates of the Forum have not survived to the present day, all these structures and the original state of the Forum have been tried to be defined in the book. Constantine and his faith are told in relation to the structural development of the Forum, and the events related to the Forum and the sacred relics claimed to be placed under the column are touched upon, and this special place and memories of Istanbul are tried to be illuminated.
