This book deals with cave paintings dating back to the Neolithic Age discovered in two different caves in recent years. In addition to the book's contribution to the few known cave paintings in Anatolia, the originality of the subjects covered in the paintings also provides new contributions to the views on the existence of the shaman in the Neolithic Age belief system. Thanks to these paintings, which convey various stages of the understanding of life and death in the shamanism belief system, it has been possible to offer suggestions for the explanation of the depictions found on many findings found in Neolithic Age centers.
In addition, these cave paintings provide illuminating information about the foundations of the shamanistic belief system, which has differentiated in many ways and continues today, and reveal that Anatolia has an undeniable place in the historical process of the shaman phenomenon.
